FAC: Facility Planning
FAC Facility Planning Kick-off
The Forney Arts Council recently held a kick-off meeting for our long-term goal of obtaining a Forney-based facility for art shows and classes. Securing a location will enable us to hold more classes, exhibits, musical events, and other activities that are currently challenging due to location constraints!
We are currently exploring options and assessing the funding needed to sign a lease. While we have some funds set aside for rent, we will need significant support to achieve our goal.
Additionally we need passionate, dedicated volunteers to help the FAC secure a permanent facility that will serve as a creative hub for the community. If you're enthusiastic about the arts and have a desire to support local culture, we’d love for you to join our mission!

Community Outreach and Advocacy: Vicki Cortez
Open Committee Positions:
Fundraising and Grant Writing: Assist in securing funding to make this facility a reality.
Communications: Manage and facilitate clear, consistent, and effective communication between project stakeholders, team members, and the community.
