Job Title: Part-Time Site Manager
The Forney Arts Council is looking for a part-time Site Manager for The Forney Arts House, its new facility on W. Pacific St. in Forney. Hours have some flexibility, Thurs - Sat.
Position Summary: Site Manager
Oversees the daily operations of a small nonprofit arts center that includes gallery exhibition space and art classrooms. This role ensures the facility is organized, welcoming, and prepared for exhibitions, classes, rentals, and community events.
Coordinates and schedules classes and workshops, collaborates with instructors and the FAC Chair to maintain program calendar, uses Communal software for bookings, and oversees the Site Assistant, providing guidance and coaching.
Provides administration and operations support for the facility and its programming.
Qualifications & Skills
This is a hands-on, multi-functional role ideal for someone who is organized, flexible, and passionate about community-based arts education.
Candidate should have excellent communication skills, both for liaising with program teachers and attendees and also for coordinating tasks with FAC.
Candidate should be detail oriented, have strong calendar management skills, and be able to oversee multiple classes and tasks.
3+ years experience preferred.
Some remote work options.
Must pass background check.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $20/hour, commensurate with experience.
