Community Guidelines for Open Mic Night
The goal of Open Mic Night is for performers from across our community to have a space for artistic expression, hone performance skills, gain experience and build community around the performing arts.
There is no charge to participate in Open Mic Night and no prizes will be awarded.

Our equipment will include:
Microphone
Music Stand
Chair
No drum sets. Hand drums are fine (congas, bongos, etc).
Performers are allowed a maximum of 5 minutes per act. Respect the time limit. There will be a cue when your 5 minutes are over.
Slots will be given out day-of. The lineup will be posted at the Forney Brewing Company and emailed to performers if email is provided.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your timeslot. Check in with the host upon arrival.
Be ready when your name is called to perform. Have your equipment ready and tuned
up before you go on.
No hate speech, harassment, or targeted personal attacks are permitted at any time.
Content should remain appropriate for a general, family-friendly audience.
If you no longer wish to perform after the lineup is posted, please tell the host immediately. Spots are not transferable.
Respect all fellow performers, the venue, staff and guest patrons.
Support fellow participants by staying for performances after your slot. We encourage performers to network with one another for feedback and opportunities.
FAC reserves the right to end a performance if these guidelines are not followed.
Audience
There is no cover charge.
Support performers by clapping, cheering, finger snapping or raising your hands in the air because you care!
No heckling, harassment or disruptive behavior will be tolerated.
We encourage all patrons to lower the volume of their phones and/or put them on vibrate/silent.
Photography and cell phone video recording is permitted but no flash.
