Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I park?

  • There are several parking areas in Downtown Forney as well as street parking.

How much does it cost? 

  • There is no admission fee to attend The Downtown Forney Summer Art Show pop up. The event is FREE and open to the public. As the Forney Arts Council is a non-profit organization, donations are appreciated but not required.

What are the event hours?

  • Friday, June 18, 2021 5pm-10pm

  • Saturday, June 19,2021 12pm-8pm

Am I required to wear a mask?

  • We ask that you follow CDC guidelines - if you are vaccinated, no masks are required. If you have not been vaccinated, please wear one.

Can I bring my children? 

  • The Downtown Forney Summer Art Show pop up is a family friendly event although we will not have any specific children’s activities. We have designated Saturday 12pm-3pm as a time when no alcoholic drinks will be served for our guest families.

Can I bring my pet? 

  • Sorry folks, no pets are allowed inside the building.

How can I purchase artwork?

  • Participating artists are handling their own sales. We encourage them to bring their own card readers and cash.

Are there restrooms?

  • Yes, the building has several restrooms for guests to use.

Will there be food available?

  • The Pretty Good Food Truck will be outside the building. We will have some chairs outside to use while you eat, and request that you not bring food into the building.

Do you need volunteers?

  • Yes! Please send an email to volunter@forneyarts.org and let us know you are interested in helping.

Will I be able to join the Forney Arts Council at the event?

  • Yes! In fact, if you join during the event you will receive a free customized FAC koozie, and will also be entered into a drawing to win a prize from a local business.
